What is Twin Skin Acrylic?
To ensure long lasting beauty and durability, most Foremost freestanding bathtubs are hand made of twin skin acrylic. This unique process involves bonding two sheets of acrylic together with a mineral-base to form a honey comb structure inside. For this reason, our bathtubs have 150% better heat retention and are 40% lighter than resin and cast iron models. The beauty of using acrylic is that it is warm to the touch, stain and scratch resistant and will keep its lustre for many years. Foremost warranties all of its freestanding bathtubs against manufacturers defects for a period of 25 years.
